You will usually see them advertise a lot on the public media and making seminar speeches in investment fair events. Basically their main business is education where they need to get student sign-ups to continue operating their businesses.

Although some of them are very good traders themselves, but they won’t always participate in the live financial market and trades to make a living. In some sense, this would create a difference in the survival essence of trading as a living where they wouldn’t feel the urge to create consistent profits to survive another day as real professional traders. However, they are good teachers for you if you just want to learn about trading and not ready to make trading as a living in the shortest time possible.
